After fifteen days marked by Chinese New Year celebrations and festivities, calm is slowly returning to the MyUM workshop. This period, also known as the Spring Festival, marks a renewal each year, a transition full of energy and promise.

In 2026, the lunar calendar celebrates the year of the Fire Horse. A powerful symbol, reflecting this resumption: lively, dynamic, and forward-looking.

🔥 Energy driven by tradition

In Chinese astrology, the Horse embodies movement, freedom, and a certain nobility of gesture. It advances with momentum, sometimes impetuously, but always with elegance and loyalty. Associated with the fire element, it becomes even more intense: carrying passion, transformation, and ambition.

This symbolism particularly resonates with artisanal work. Because creating demands the same energy: a balance between mastery and spontaneity, between rigor and creative impulse.

Behind every MyUM creation, there are hands, eyes, and constant attention. Full-time artisan women bring the collections to life: reversible plush toys, teething rings, music boxes, comforters, rattles, and soothing toys.

Through these repeated, precise, and patient gestures, a true story is woven. A story made of transmitted know-how, enriched over time, and driven by a commitment to quality.

🌱 Miles of yarn, a living material

VEGGY TOYS are entirely handmade from organic cotton. Behind each object, there are thousands and thousands of miles of crocheted yarn, carefully assembled to create forms inspired by life.

This meticulous work is reminiscent of a gardener's: patience, regularity, attention to detail. Every stitch counts, every gesture contributes to the harmony of the whole.

⭐️ A horse for a unique collaboration

In 2021, the most prestigious luxury hotel in Paris called on MyUM to imagine and design the decorative universe of its children's club. Driven by a common desire to create a space that is poetic, playful, and unique, this collaboration gave birth to entirely unique and custom-made pieces. MyUM thus created delicate flower dolls in soft colors and giant bees, true sculptural elements, bringing a touch of magic and wonder to the place. Each creation was designed to stimulate children's imagination while harmoniously integrating into the establishment's refined aesthetic.

Building on this initial success, the collaboration continued in 2023 with the creation of an emblematic object: a white horse transformed into a music box. Conceived as an exceptional gift, this object is offered to families staying in the group's establishments, from Courchevel to Paris, and even to the Maldives. Both a precious souvenir and a decorative piece, this horse embodies MyUM's sensitive and poetic universe, while extending the customer experience beyond the stay.

This collaboration, based on constant creative dialogue and a shared commitment to quality, is renewed annually, leading to new exclusive creations that continue to enchant young and old alike.

Among these creations, the Horse crochet music box perfectly embodies this spirit. Made from 100% organic cotton, it gently accompanies the first moments of life, while carrying a strong symbolism.
