Yes, our toys are designed for babies from birth and are tested according to European and American standards by an independent and CPSC/CPSIA accredited laboratory.
Yes. The yarn is made of GOTS certified organic cotton. And most importantly, the filling is also 100% cotton!
No polyester here!
Yes. Each toy is crocheted and assembled by hand in our workshop.
There is no machine for crochet. It is a 100% artisanal technique.
Yes! Machine wash on a delicate cycle, even the musical boxes, the mechanism is waterproof.
I design and create each model in France, in Paris, where MYUM's headquarters are located, or in Corsica, in my home village!
All our toys are then entirely handmade using crochet, without any machines. For example, it takes nearly 2 hours of work to make a single carrot.
To make this craft accessible, I have been working for over 10 years with the same workshop in southern China. I have personally met these artisan women, who are experts in crochet, and I am proud to work with these talented women since the beginning of MYUM.
We are sometimes criticized for the origin of our workshop. This is a shame, because MYUM is not an industrial production: each toy is handmade by artisans whose work and expertise we know. I am proud to contribute, on our scale, to perpetuating this traditional craft.
Finally, our toys are transported to Europe by train to limit the environmental impact of transport, then stored at our logistics provider in Bordeaux before reaching you.

Crochet gives our toys a unique, compact, and curiously stimulating texture for little exploring hands. This traditional craft technique creates a textured relief that babies love to discover with their fingertips and explore with their mouths. Since touch is the first sense to develop in the fetus, our VEGGY TOYS offer a rich and rewarding sensory experience.
"Super soft" is nice, but combined with "textured" is even better! This is our great innovation: we combine crochet work with sewing work, thus creating toys with two complementary textures.
On one side, the crocheted section offers a compact, structured, and surprising texture that stimulates baby's tactile curiosity. On the other, the organic cotton gauze envelops the toy with its fluidity and soothing softness. This subtle combination of traditional natural materials gives our creations a unique quality and sensory experience, truly enriching for your child's awakening and kinesthetic development.
